So much fun! Kayaking
Kayaking can be a bit tiring for beginners, but once you get to glide along the water, weave through islands in the middle of the lake, or squeeze through limestone channels, it becomes a fun and memorable challenge. It’s even more fun when you’re paddling with friends.
No matter which angle you hold the camera, it’s beautiful! Green water, dense trees, mountains in the background, especially in the early morning when there’s a thin mist floating above the water’s surface, or in the evening when the sun reflects off the water, every shot is like a postcard.
While paddling, you might see flocks of spectacled langurs, flying foxes, or even red-tailed hawks swooping overhead! If you’re lucky, during the morning or evening, you might even see flocks of hornbills or other rare animals coming out to feed. It’s a wildlife viewing experience without having to trek through the jungle.
Kayaking in Khao Sok is like entering another world. The tall limestone mountains surrounding Cheow Lan Lake are like paddling in Thailand’s Grand Canyon. The emerald green water reflects the mountains, so beautiful that you won’t want to blink.
